Troubleshooting Gimbal Malfunction Issues with Ruko Drones

The stunning natural landscapes and wonderful flight experience from Ruko drones have fueled a surge of drone pilots from all over the world. However, occasionally, drone pilots find the gimbal keeps the tilt and doesn't work, leading the drone to fail to take off.

Reasons for Gimbal Malfunction

1. Takeoff Surface Issues. The drone takes off from the grass and sand, and the gimbal hits the grass and sand.

2. Floor Resonance. The drone takes off from the floor, and the hollow wooden floor will transmit some resonance, causing gimbal malfunction.

3. External Disturbances. External human factors affect the drone's gimbal, or the drone is picked up during the calibration.

4. Desktop Vibration. The drone is turned on on the desktop, and the desktop will amplify the slight vibration into high-frequency vibration.

5. Compass Calibration. The drone enters the compass calibration. It's normal that the gimbal doesn't work during the process of compass calibration.

Instructions to Address Gimbal Malfunction

1. Use a Landing Pad. Add a landing pad or cardboard to cushion the drone, keep gimbal from hitting foreign objects.

2. Choose a Stable Surface. Keep at a distance from vibrating places and change to a vibration-free level ground.

3. Avoid Interference. The gimbal will perform a self-check within a short period of time, preventing touching during the calibration process.

4. Complete Calibration. Following the compass calibration as well as the gyroscope calibration, the gimbal will automatically calibrate when the drone is placed on a level ground.

Based on the above instructions and the video, the issue of the gimbal not working can be successfully addressed. After that, you can take off the drone and enjoy your flight journey.
